Who's Ravageur? What's Ravageur's forum name? We need it for the Leaderboard.
Thanks.

Heh, my forum name is Ravageur as well as my stars SN. As far as what Ravageur is...nobody knows. It's semi-french bleh bleh. Anyway.
I'm relatively new here. See you next game hopefully!

Ravageur, your name is not in our database of Gauntlet players:

Can you please add yourself? Click Register on that page above.
How did you get the password for Game 1?

Ravageur called me after waking up 3 min into start of Gauntlet. I gave him p word.
Hope I don't get disqualified and lose endorsement deals/huge ego boost my inevitable victory in Gauntlet will bring .

A key reason why we don't allow passwords to be shared is because if a player did not register properly (Why didn't he register earlier if he thought he might be playing?), it screws up our Leaderboard data and gives us incorrect stats. Currently, Ravageur isn't even listed in Game 1's results, so we have 44 players shown when 45 players actually played. As it is now, he gets no points and is not eligible for the title and trophy. He simply doesn't exist on our roster.
Additionally, EVERY player's point data is incorrect, as there should have been more points distributed. All because you and Ravageur did not follow instructions.
If he woke up too late to play (and didn't even bother to register before Game 1), that's his loss. You shouldn't make it your problem. It's your problem now because you broke the rule about sharing passwords.
THIS IS THE ONE WARNING TO YOU AND EVERYONE:
DO NOT SHARE PASSWORDS FOR ANY REASON!
From here on out, ANYONE sharing passwords for any of the games WILL BE DISQUALIFIED immediately -- no password access, no points, no trophy, no title eligibility.
NO MORE WARNINGS. NO MORE EXCUSES.
I was just about ready to pull the trigger and remove you from this season's roster, Genitruc. Be thankful I changed my mind.

My bad for being ignorant. You can imagine that if I thought it would screw things up for organizers like it did I would not have shared password.
Sorry. I truly appreciate the work you admins put in for forum users and regret having made your life shitty over this.

And if it didn't screw up our database, you'd consider it okay to ignore the posted restriction on sharing passwords?
I'm not following your rationale.

Xianti this may seem inconceivable but I did not notice an explicit message indicating pwords were not to be shared. (there is prob a huge neon flashing message somewhere... oh well). My "rationale" was simply that Ravageur was an FTR member and that the gauntlet was open to FTRers hence passwords were there to prevent outsiders crashing our games.
This probably sounds unbelievable (the not noticing the "do not share passwords" part) but - *sigh* - it's the truth. Not trying to defend myself in court just tryin to tell you what happened and why your database is now all screwed up cuz of me...

Wow, I apologize. I really had no idea about this password business (as I said I was relatively new to the forum). Yesterday I saw in the post on the Home FTR page that the gauntlet was that night for FTR members. I thought it'd be fun and as Genitruc is a member that I know personally was playing I asked him what the password was as the game was about to start.
I obviously won't try to participate henceforth and I'm sorry for any inconvenience we caused.
And as far as you blaming it on Genitruc...he obviously had no idea that 1. This was against forum rules and 2. That is screwed up the servers.
Blame it on me plz as he was just being a kind friend.
I imagine it's inconceivable that we thought this was just a layed back game of friendly poker. I've tried to be positive impact on these forums in the short time that I've been here, but I guess that doesn't matter.
Anyway. I will stay out of your way and league from now on.

We don't want you to stay out of our league, Ravageur. Please keep participating and keep contributing. Xianti didn't mean for you to leave the forums or to stop playing the Gauntlet, so please don't do that. Let's all just register like we're supposed to and hopefully things can be fixed up and worked out.
I haven't been around the forums much lately and I wasn't able to play the first game, but I definitely wanna be able to play a game with you in the future. So stay and have fun

Xianti, if it would help set things right with your server and the point structure I'll be happy to register. But if it doesn't make a difference i'll respectfully refrain.
Let me know.
