Well, I had fun, but this was my worst beat...

QJs in early position, blinds 100/200, im sitting on 1400-ish

I limp in, planning on pushing if reraising, and pushing flop if i hit.

All fold but BB who checks

Flop 4h 8d Jc

Perfect! I'm all in... He thinks for a minute, calls with 10 3c

Turn: Q

River: 9

Ouch, runner runner not complaining, i just wanna win something even if its worst beat of tourney

I call a 3xBB raise with TT.

Flop is JXX.

He bets weak.

I push over the top.

He calls and flips JJ.

There went my tourney. :P

Dwarfman I remember in one of those videos you made you said you will easily push if someone bets weak into you. Maybe this guy watched the video too

Cool, but let's keep all Gauntlet-related discussions (including bad beats, hand histories, etc.) in the Gauntlet forum... an exception to the "All bad beats go in the 'It's All Bad' forum" rule.

Thanks.

Hi Dwarfman,

Sorry about the weak bet with the trips jacks, but hey, I have to get paid. It didn't do me much good in the long run, as I went out about 24th.
Thanks,
BreakfastMan

Geez dwarfy, that's exactly how you went out of that Bugsy Club tournament we played in (JJ with a Q on the flop, with 10k stacks there even).

... Someone needs to learn how to lay down pocket pairs.

First hand after the break K-K in MP I raise to 600 and get flat called. Flop 2-7-J I lead out for 1200 and he pushes over the top. I think for a minute and decide he must have A-J or K-J....I call and he flips over A-Q......Wahoo!! can't ask for much more than no pair against my cowboys. Turn Q River A
and I'm out in 35th.

Here's how I got knocked out, I thought it was kinda "bad". Anytime I push with 66, I don't expect much, but I thought I was good here.

Yeah, I was at your table when that happened. I think thats the worst beat of the tourney. I got knocked out when i had QQ flop 10-J-K, already had half my stack in, I raised the rest... he had AQ.
