I would like some criticism on my play. I know made some bad decisions early on. This was my first tournament. Thank you for being constructive.

oops forgot to say I was Tchrsmth.

If you want some critiquing of your play you should either post your HH or select a few hands that you had problems making decisions on.

Ok Third hand in so not much information on peoples style of play. I think as I was reviewing this hand, I thinking that at the river he had missed it had missed his hand and that he was trying to take the pot.

fold pre flop, fold flop. The problem with your thinking on the river is that about the only hands you beat are KQ, QJ types, and A6 - everything else has a pair or has you out kicked.

You will get better replies if you edit the results.

You should have folded on every street that you called.

Thank you, Drmcboy. That was a good reply. I see now that should have folded pre-flop.
I believe I was on tilt from the previous hand I folded a pair of 7s when redgrape went all-in over the top pre flop but at only 2nd hand in the tournament. What do you recommend fold preflop on 7s early in tournament if you don't know the table yet or a big preflop 5XBB raise?

I am not sure if you mean A7 or 77.

77 - mostly limp, call smallish raises for a set.

A7o - fold pretty much anywhere except button or SB if opening, then maybe raise

A7s - limp behind limpers

Gauntlets are really weird first tourneys to play, I would not recommend them unless you're way overrolled. It's a combination of small stakes players who are a little better (mostly tighter) than average, and guys with bigger rolls (me, geowal21/UG would be examples) who are just there to goof around.

Ok Great! Thanks for information. I see I did it right. I have been play 1.25 SNGs and .05 .10 NL. I have had seen some gains. I still working on how to manage a bankroll. I don't have much. As a teacher with a family is really tight. Who knows if it is still around in a couple of years I may earn a FTR Trophy.
