It is definitely time to get the next season underway.
Benny, can you organize an effort to get people to start proposing game schedules, game types and maybe a new scoring system?
We may need to revise the usual Wed eve/Sun noon format, as some were complaining about it. The key is, it needs to accommodate people from all over the world, not just US players (particularly European players) -- something I think the US players that are complaining may not realize or are not concerned about.
Many of the game types we tried last season will not be returning, as attendance didn't back up the claims of interest in some of them.
And others felt the point distribution was not fair in different ways. We need to come to an agreement on what seems balanced and what is programmatically possible.

Comments have been posted in various threads of this Gauntlet forum throughout Season VII. I couldn't name a specific thread off the type of my head, but I'm sure there are some relevant topic titles.
