Figured I'd start a thread so people can discuss hands and stuff during or after.

You can also vent if you bust out!

Ideally, you want 99 heads up and still in ep, there are no assurances of getting it that way. It's especially daunting that the big stacks are still to act.

That said, it's pretty nitty and personally, I poosh anyway.

I did suspect something was wrong when only 24 players were shown in the standings. There were more than 28 unique players in game 1A alone.

We are still working out the bugs in the standings and point-scoring code, as we had to make some tricky modifications for the best-10-of-12 games scoring for this season. Our programmer is working on this now.

Did you yell "COUNT" after you busted? If not I think you only get 1/2 the point total.

Overall, I think this two games on a Sunday idea is great. Looked like turnout was good for both, despite the pw glitch.

about the 99 fold...

against almost everyone's UTG shove range I'm flipping and have to commit 30BBs with 7 players left. id probably shove from MP2-BB, but I think I'm in too EP for it. I didn't really look closely at the payout structure so maybe if it was really top-heavy I should have gone with it

Hell, even if he had a higher pp you would have sucked out on him and it would have been that much more awesome.

I can't see my name in lists "standings" and "players" though I registered following the instructions and played both IA and IB.

is there any possible way the structures can be tweaked, or do we pretty much just get the shitty old stars structure?

Dude, it's hard enough getting them to set up the 6-max games for us. I asked them last week and they still haven't done it.

The structure is fine provided more than 27 players show.

I had 0 clue it was so hard to get Stars to do this for you. Def. sucks.

i don't think this will happen not that often, fwiw, and i'm almost sure it won't happen often at the 9:30 EST one. i don't know if it's even possible to get it changed, but this is the old shitty stars structure from awhile ago for MTTs, before it got changed in pretty much all of them.

honestly, i don't care that much, but just figured i'd ask. *shrug*

doesn't the old structure put you in push/fold sooner than the new structure? If so, I would think that you'd like it more than the rest of us since you can't play post flop to save your life ...
