and I had a spot on my mantle for the trophy and everything...

Thanks, though I sort of dug my own grave in the end, cause I was completely card dead and I convinced myself I would be auto called given the stacks and the bounty. So I tried to wait for a semi-decent hand and the blinds gobbled my stack until it was gross and that was that.
Well, there is always the next Gauntlet, hopefully I am not typecast as the 2nd place guy.

Nice job Gator.
Gutted that I missed last night - got bumped from the top ten and presumably the TOC as a result. Oh well, I can satisfy myself with the fact I had two games in hand and ended with a better average than Spenda, Deanglow and Trip.
I'll be back next year mofo's.
