For those of you that did not play in this week's Wednesday game (Tourney 8), and you're wondering who "FTRRules" is, it's our very own Tyson. He played under a different name (as opposed to his usual "ttanaka").

Nice job, Ty!

The key was not letting Michael1123 know who I was until it was too late!

Actually, sorry about that Mike, I let everyone know who I was when I took my initial seat, but should've made the same announcement at the final table.

Haha. Honestly its knowing that really screwed me up. I had an image of you being an extremely tight player so after I knew I became much more weary of calling your big bets and raises.

Image can be a powerful thing. Yeah, I liked it when you chatted something like "Dude, you are aggressive when heads-up!"...

I did get some hands, and it looked like you went dry. At those blinds, it only takes a few.

Anyway, it was a lot of fun heading into that final matchup. I was trying to be patient and pick off the two low chip stacks, I really didn't want to tango with you until we were heads up. I got a bit nervous when I doubled up TylerK with my Ace high against his low pocket pair.

Now we have to wait 10 days until the next League game...

Well, luckily for me cup, I didn't go all-in against you. Last time, your AQ beat my QQ when I was all-in. You hit an ace on the turn and knocked me out early...still feeling that one.

Not nervous enough NOT to call my Q8 all-in with an Ace high, I see.

Two cards I did not want to flip over...

Yeah, I thought I'd give my Ace high another shot to redeem itself. I raised you enough that you basically had a fold or all-in option. Knowing that those were your only plays, I was prepared for the all-in from my opening raise and was planning to call it.

Unfortunately at that point I couldn't quite afford to wait around for a better hand. I had missed an opportunity to push with another ace-high hand on a previous orbit, and I had to take my chances with something while my stack was still big enough that doubling would put me in a reasonable position to come back. Overall, great game...being sandwiched between you and Michael is NOT where I want to be.
