OK, so Gauntlet IV has finished and congratulations to Fimanoid, BeeJall and IllestIrish for the close finish.
This could be a little premature but I'd like to see what Gauntlet players think about reverting back to a Sunday afternoon (EST) game instead of Saturday.
The weekend turnouts for the last two Gauntlet seasons were:
Gauntlet III (Sunday)
Game 1: 53
Game 3: 44
Game 5: 39
Game 7: 21
Game 9: 25
Game 13: 35
Game 15: 19
Game 17: 20
Game 19: 15
Game 22: 13
Game 23: 18
Game 24: 20
Total: 322 (avg. from 12 games: 26.8 entrants)
Gauntlet IV (Saturday)
Game 2: 13
Game 4: 8 (LHE game)
Game 6: 17
Game 8: 17
Game 10: 12
Game 12: 20
Game 14: 14
Game 16: 12
Game 18: 13
Game 20: 16
Game 22: 8
Game 24: 15
Total: 165 (avg. from 12 games: 13.75 entrants)
My preference is for a Sunday game (as Saturday clashes with my social life). Based on these figures, I could guess that Sunday favours a lot of others also.

Sunday. Saturday was a hassle for me and I started avoiding them because of the low turnout.

Season V won't be for a little while, but you've persuaded me. The weekend games will be moved back to Sundays.
Does Sunday at the usual time of 3:00pm ET still work for most everyone?

That's noon for the west coast. You're only allowed to play in 1/2 the tourneys anyway. So 9 Wed, 3 Sun would cut it. You don't have to be there everyweek.
