Les_Worm won the first game of Season II!

And Mike4066 busted LeFou for the Bounty.

Good game, everyone.

Game 2 is this Saturday at 3:00pm ET.

Goddamnit, I gotta learn these fella's Absolute names...

My eighth place finish was less than spectacular but better than embarassing. Natrix must have gotten lost on their way to the final table...

Incredible event y'all, thanks for playin, hope you had a good time.

I'm just waiting for the tourney report from Absolute to enter into the Leaderboard page (more info on this page later).

It probably won't be available until tomorrow.

We had a great turnout, that was a lot of fun. I couldn't believe it when I saw LeFou turn over a Royal Flush!

Nah "Le Flush" was pretty early in the match... Someone correct me if I'm wrong but Mike4066 had AA to LeFou's AJ at showdown.

That royal was a serious wake up call though

Les Worm OWNED the runner up. Runner up had 60K+ chips and the rest of us had 8-12k at the final table. He pissed his stack over to Worm and it weren't purdy. Nice heads up work Worm. I stuck around to watch the action.

The Royal hand was wild. I tried to screen capture but was a split second too late. I was to the right of LeFou. 4 of us limped. Flop was Q KsAs. I held 4s5s and thought about a semi, but my spider senses told me to bail. Turn brought Qs I believe. Then on the river the other guy goes all in to LeFou and Lefou called. Arkana smelled the Royal before it was shown. First Royal I've ever saw.

that hand is very similiar to a WPT hand between mizrachi and haralbodos. 57 v K8 on a 58Q5K flop. mizrachi had K* but didn't raise on the river because he figured the other guy had the 5, because he checked the turn after betting the flop. if only our reads were so good! it was played eerily similiar.

edit: yes, congrats on the win.

Yep, I had to make a less than optimal play due to the bounty

Besides I was still upset with lefou for knocking me out 3rd in one of the gauntlets last season with a dominated hand At least I was a coinflip haha

Seriously though, if it wern't for the bounty I would have pitched the hand to your push.
