Congratulations to FTR member, fulksy, who topped the Gauntlet IX leaderboard with a total of 855.7 points! In this series, he won a total of $255.50 and in his best 12 games had an average of 71.3 points per game!

Because of his domination, fulksy will take an additional $300, choice of FTR Gear and, of course, the TROPHY !
In 2nd place, AvatarKava will win $150 and his choice of FTR Gear. And last but not least, in 3rd place, Roco415 takes home $75 and his choice of FTR Gear.
Please PM me with your choice of gear and shipping info. (fulksy I need to know which 2 cards you want on top of the trophy.)
I know this season wasn't the best, but I had a lot of fun playing and thanks to everyone who showed up to play. I can't say when the next season will begin, but we will need to make some changes.

I would also like to offer my congrats to fulksy, AvatarKava and Roco415.
This was my first Gauntlet since 2007. I made TOC that year as well. I made some major life moves and decisions which made me shuffle priorities. I decided to come back this year for some ungodly reason! I must be a little masochistic! But I did enjoy playing again. I also saw some steady good playing and it showed in the end. These were supporters of the Gauntlet. See you all in the TOC.
That's all I got.

Way to drop the ball AK!

That's how winners play; we convince the other guy he's making all the right moves.

thanks to everyone, also congrats to avatar and rocco, who both played great, and i got to give a little credit to rocco running terrible for the win. Even though the fields were pretty small, i got to play against lots of great players which was awesome. I had lots of fun and look forward to defending in the next gauntlet.
Fields improved quite a bit near the end so i think the lower buy will be the most important change.

Congrats to fulksy AK and rocco. Your play and support of the gauntlet in the weeks I was associated with it made you winners.
I just want to add that I had a great time playing against all of the competitors in the gauntlet. Even though I got a late start playing with you better players assisted my learning curve and made me a better player. Thanks for letting this newcomer be a part of this amazing series.
Sorry AK, that I couldnt finish of fulksy for you so that you might have a chance to win it all. Ha Ha Ha!
Again thank all you regulars for this chance to interact and play with you. I look forward to the next gauntlet.

No joke! .... but Fulksy was a steamroller those last couple games and to be objective, completely deserved the win with how consistently well he played.

is fulksy the one who thought that calling a shove with AK93 was the best option in omaha-8?

gg all. congrats fulksy.
Sadly I didn't get to play gauntlet much (Weds and Sun are the 2 days I almost always take off poker) but the games I played were fun.
Hopefully next season I'll play more and we can change a few thing and promote some stuff for an even more successful season.
