Hello my name is Rob Carroll Pokerstars ID coachrobc
I am the assistant commish to what we feel is the best poker league on Pokerstars.. Internationally Suited..
{URL edited by Xianti}

We wanted to offer a challenge to the great members of FTR
A NL Heads-Up challenge on Pokerstars.
Details can be worked out between commish's but something along the line of. 7 of your best vs 7 of ours on pokerstars private tourn. Would stagger start times. $10+1 buy in. Each team would also send their team capt. a extra $5. The winning team gets their $5 back plus $5 from the other team.
Please leave reply or email me at {Email edited by Xianti}.
Visit our site also. Can talk a little trash on our message board (all in good fun of course)

you tell em jdubs - these fake pokerstars don't know who they are dealing with (and now i'm going to pull off my "i know ... and he's gonna kick your ass") - we can put 30 members names in a hat, draw them randomly, and take the thing down so fast (hopefully gabes name gets drawn-lol) that these guys will be crying...you don't bring a child to a mans game fakerstars...

Reraise the wannabes . Our guys kick ass, but not fer $10's. That may be why the small response. Xianti, maybe a little sponsorship is in order for a few of your big guys to help FTR put there name on this. He's calling out your guys.

Put out a call for nominations/volunteers for team captain. We vote, captain gets selected and picks the players.

Just make Bob the captain. I doubt there will be complaints about that.

After talking to some it was pointed out to me that we both are poker leagues and not just Texas Holdem league sooo this is what I am proposing to my league and yours. Would love to hear your thoughts.
A serious of events like the WSOP

1. Events will bet he following: all pokerstars multitable tourns /times est
Friday at 5:30pm Limit Stud $3
Friday at 9:30pm Omaha Hi/Lo $1
Sat at 10:00am Limit Holdem $1
Sat at 12:30 pm Stud Hi / Lo $1
Sat at 5:30 pm No Limit Holdem $3
Sat at 9:15 pm Pot Limit Omaha $5

2. Each team will submit 5 players for each event, does not have to be the same 5 but a player can play in more than 1.

3. Points will be awared based on your finish
If you have the best finish 10 pts, 2nd best 9 pts 3rd best 8 pts on down to first one out 1 point. If you finish 10th-18th in the tourn. you get 5 bonus pts. If you make the final table in a tourn you get 10 bonus points. If you win the tourn 25 bonus points.

4. Sunday will consist of 5 heads up matches each match worth 20 points each.

5. Team with the most points at the end wins!!!

6. Instead of the $5 side bet per player, the losing team has to put the league icon of the winning team on their web site for a month and with a link to the other teams site.

What do you think?

NLHE ftw. Considering the (bad) turnout we've had for non-NLHE Gauntlet games, let's just stick with one game for now.
