I have to say this was the most fun at a gauntlet event so far. Heres a few of the highlights

Haha, that was a fun tourney, probably the most fun Gauntlet tourney I've played in.

What pissed me off about the flush hand isn't you hitting though, its that I wasted chips on the river when I had a feeling I should check it down, and that I didn't raise all in on the turn (when I nearly did). The lead on the turn smelt fishy though, and I was worried you may have two pair.

But when you checked on the river I was pretty sure my TPTK must be good as I didn't think you'd risk a flush being checked down and I thought that you'd value you bet / protect your hand from being bluffed out with two pair, so I became pretty sure that you had a hand like AQ and thought I could get a small bet out of you. But your damn river check raise showed I was clearly beaten. Could have a straight, flush, or two pair at this point. Obviously not just a pair.

You checked on the flop and called a near pot sized bet, led on the turn when you didn't have it, and only have one card left to catch it, and then you check on the river when you do catch it. Tricky ass play, especially at the river. Nice job.

I didn't have anything on the second hand. Just saw an opportunity to announce that you're full of shit, which is something that I'll always take.

By the way, Mike. Reflecting on this tourney, I realized something. You're full of shit.

By the way, Mike. Reflecting on this tourney, I realized something. You're full of shit.

I've played in 7? gauntlet events, the first 6 I played tight is right and very straight forward. All of the plays I made were what you would expect of someone playing 10-15% of hands. The only problem was I had problems getting action on my big hands. I can say one thing, I didn't have a problem finding action in this event

This time I decided to change it up a bit. Raise some wacky hands to throw everyone for a loop. At one point you said "mike raising is like him saying he has 2 cards, his pfr's don't get any respect from me".

2 events ago nobody wouldn't have said that about me

Garth brooks has a song, one of the lines is
"He never hit the brakes and he was shifting gears"

About that hand..

I figured you for the AK / AQ

I almost didn't call your flop bet, it was a very loose call due to the fact that you had about as many chips as me.
My bet on the turn a poor attempt at folding you out. I was hoping you'd think I hit my kicker with A6s or something similar.

Checking raising the river, well that was just for fun

I almost flat called, but I was having too much fun not to dick around!
