Hey,
The last Gauntlet reminder email indicated that some additional games would be scheduled to make up for the canceled ones. X-man, when are you thinking of having these?
FWIW, my personal thoughts are even with only 1 regular Gauntlet player having hit max games. three of the last four Gauntlets have been canceled for low turnout. So, I question whether additional games will increase the turnout rate. They may just end up being more trouble than they're worth, if they are canceled as well.
If we don't go ahead with additional games, it does kind of suck not to have an opportunity to press Gator for 1st, but I guess being 2nd two years in a row isn't all bad.

I traded PM's with X yesterday and he had agreed that the most that should be added is 2 to compensate for the 2 that fell on US holiday weekends.
However, based on the extremely low turnout last night I am starting to think that we may not get enough people for these two as well.
I am ok either way and will PM GMML to have him post his thoughts as he is the only other person who can realistically win the league.

I had told gmml there would be make-up games, so please let me know what he says.
I just created Games 33 and 34 in Stars, but I can delete them if you guys don't think it's worthwhile.
Looking ahead, what about the TOC? Are we sticking with NLH? $20+2 buy-in?

I still want the makeup games and i have no chance of finishing in the top 3.
Maybe less games next year? It might concentrate people's minds more.

If I were in the top 2-3 I'd be a little upset about make-up games, everyone had an opportunity to play in 16 games, 27 total ran at least right?
I played in tournaments with low turn-outs just to get 16 in, thus potentially hurting my points total.

i think there is a decent chance that makeup games won't even run and probably be canceled.
spenda, a couple of the games i was registered for were canceled, so therefore need to be made up ldo.

Ditto and I still didn't get all 16 in. You're the only one that did so, for me, this is a sign that 16 is too many.

When is the TOC scheduled for? Make it for afternoon and make it deep stacks imo  $20 buy-in seems fine.. maybe add a few FTR prizes as well.

Only 2 people showed up for Game 33 so it was cancelled. My guess is that game 34 will prolly have the same outcome.
