I am grateful that these games happen, but I am not grateful that players who are not members on this site play on tournaments like this.
It could be better if the password would be shared to qualified members and members who have made more than 35 posts in the last month for example.

Well I just bust out in 8th, $13+ticket, keith still going.

MKD, just myself and keith we regged in advance, so it was opened up. In the end I recognised just me, keith, daven, dan, chemist, you... that's six qualified members, needing 18 for it to go ahead at all... better to have 150 runners than 6 and it be cancelled. Yeah I'd prefer it to be a game with just regs who know each other, a smaller field etc, but that didn't happen. I'm still happy, and not just because I got a ticket. I'm happy to be able to play a game that is instant win in terms of ev.

keith is chip leader, 4 left.

Has anyone tried to unreg? I wonder if it gives tounry $$$. I don't want to try though in case it does just that.

also , people could only play one tourney ....so quite a lot of the ftr qualified members were also able to play at another forum and played their smaller regs only event rather than the ftr event

So those who played cardschat couldn't play FTR? How did they work that one out? Were the two games linked?

Game over, vaxa from ukraine won. Thoroughly deserved to be fair, with 19 left he brutally dominated his table, shoving every hand with his big stack, forcing relentless folds.

I'm glad to see some of our regulars got a ticket into the WCOOP $215... would make me even happier to see you both at the final table there!

Keith has been really great about suggesting how we can modify our current password system. I think eventually we're going to go with some version of his suggestions... it's just a matter of setting it up on the backend so it can be automated.

Congrats again guys! GLGL in the WCOOP!

As expected , the only people to thanks FTR for the tickets won are the forum regs that won them. The passers by who picked up the open password don't care about FTR they just got a nice overlay tournament relatively cheaply.

Well done guys. Good luck in the next one.

Yeah thanks and unlucky dan, and daven too. I was railing both of you. Daven got brutally unlucky, he went out in the cash but no ticket.

vaxa seems to have unregged from the target event. I feel like I should, BRM etc, but fuck that, I'm taking a one time shot at it.

Thanks Ftr for the game and for making it a buyin game

Congrats Keith and Ong, you showed really gg, only I think that Ong could wait a better cards to go all-in.
However you get a ticket and played on the final table, so it shows again how good player you are.
Congrats again and GL in the WCOOP. I will be happy if I see you on the final table on Sunday

interesting hand i thought was the ticket bubble when i was BB 600 1200 blinds and shortie shoved for 2100 and i folded. i had something complete trash like 10 2o. couple of the others were moaning that i folded saying it was only 900 more to call , but i only had 4900 behind so they wanted me to risk 20% of my remaining stack with junk to ensure their own ticket. if i lost short stack would have had more chips than me as well. effectively i'd probably only have been playing one live card and even then it was likely to be behind. thoughts?
  17. #92
I would have not called it because along with tickets you are playing for cash also. Therefore with such trash hand you will be throwing away your stack.

I made some seriously tight folds during that bubble. Tens and jacks both openfolded, and I folded A9 to a shove from the short because he said in the chat that he had queens and I believed him (and he showed his queens lol). I'd have folded the T2 for sure. I was to keith's direct right, so I was sb in that hand. Pretty sure I had an ace rag, but I had keith to act behind me so it was an awkward spot.

As for my shove hand, I got my stack in with KJo with 3bb vs an utg minraise. Maybe I can wait a few more hands and be forced to gii with whatever junk I have on my blind, but I didn't fancy that. Sucks I ran into aces. I could be up against tens, AQ, JQs... I'm dominated fairly often but not often enough for me to fold a reasonable hand for 3bb. I'm getting it in there all day long.

grrrrrr looks like i'm working most of today. unregged and g0t a 215$ ticket ...will update when i play a sunday million with it when i have time to play it
  20. #95
Yeah I just noticed you unregged. Sadface. Also notice Vicky Cohen has unregged, the selfish bitch. I was bragging to my mates that I was playing the same game as her, now she makes me look like a bullshitter.

I'm glad it's a ticket rather than tourney $$$s, I can be happy I'm not making a poor BRM decision by playing this game. I'm nearly ready for what will hopefully be a long day of poker. I'm regged in the Big $8.80, and the WCOOP $215 game, both stating in an hour, also got the Storm and Big $11 which I might or might not play in, depends how the other two are going, and later on there's two FTR games, the stars freeroll and the FTP 250, which I'll likely play too.

Just need to nip to the shop and stock up on supplies.

That cup was refilled on an hourly basis. My break was pretty much... go downstairs, put kettle on, put tea bag and sugar in mug, go upstairs, urinate, go back downstairs, pour water from kettle, mill about while tea brews, look at clock, oh shit it's turned the hour, quickly finish brewing tea, go upstairs, resume poker. Occasionally I'll even get another banana or packet of crisps.

Yeah, I know the one upstairs bog problem, garden sometimes gets a late night watering, (and often during a kitchen 'session').
Frequently wonder why I don't just get an upstairs kettle during poker.
Why can't home be set up like a hotel room?
  27. #102
Yeah I'd like a mini fridge and kettle up here for my pokering. Maybe I'll buy them with my WCOOP winnings. That seems a productive way to spend poker money.
