As reported here, PokerStars is appealing to its players to donate to the Haiti earthquake relief effort and will match all donations made via PokerStars through the end of this month. We here at FlopTurnRiver.com would like to help further by directly encouraging our forum community, who have proven to be generous and caring people in the past, to donate to this very worthy cause. As set up by PokerStars, all funds will go to the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies to help Haiti recover from this devastating disaster.
Please participate in this donation drive by making a private player transfer to the account Haiti Fund via your PokerStars Lobby. Go to Requests in the client top menu and select Transfer Funds. Any amount, no matter how great or small, will help more than you know.
Post the confirmation of your transfer here showing the amount you've donated by end-of-day Friday, January 29; you may omit your player name if you wish. Then, before PokerStars' deadline of January 31, FlopTurnRiver.com will match a percentage of the total donated by our community and also donate. With PokerStars matching not only your private donation but also FTR's donation, this means the total donated would be up to 400% of your collective contribution!

This is a great idea. A 400% match on our donation is sick. This basically means that a small $10 donation on our part becomes $40 for the Haitian people. I'm sure $40 goes a long way in buying food and medical supplies to the Haitians.
I donated $16 as soon as I read this post by Xianti. I didn't get a confirmation email from PokerStars, but hopefully this will do:
If I end up getting a confirmation email from PokerStars, I will post that as well.
Everyone can donate something. Even if it's "only" $5, that'll become $20 with this excellent donation drive.
