Got home.
SEGA is hooked up in my room.
First Mario Leumeuix drops 3 on Pittsburgh in the Pens are the greatest team in the history of the NHL cup. (Pit vrs Pit)
Then I grab the choas emerald in Sonic 3.
Next, who knows? Toe Jam and Earl maybe?
Talk about the greatest day in the history of days.

Two words.
Tecmo Superbowl.
(original NES)
SEGA definitely was the shit, though. Coach K College Basketball and NBA Live 95 were my favorites.

Toe Jam and Earl!!!!!!!!!!! wow It's been so long since I've played that game.
Icarus wings + 1st level + secret place in bottom left hand corner where you drop down to 0th level and chill in the hot tubs with the bikini girls = amazing.

YEAH BABY!
There's nothing quite as good Christian Okoye running through the Indy defense or quite as bad as the stupid flea-flicker plays.

Blades of Steel
River City Mansion
Dragon Warrior 3
Best Sportsl Games for the NES:
RBI Baseball 3
Little League World Series

FWIW, I still love to play NFL Blitz for the N64 (I could have bought the arcade game for $300....)

You need Kid Chameleon on your list.

You'd pick up different helmets and become things like:
An axe thrower
A rhino dude
A samurai
A future hover-skate-board-guy where you could invert and skate on the ceiling
etc

Let's move on to my kinda retro games console. The Sega Mega Drive (known as the Sega Genesis in America).
My two favourites for this badass 16-bit mean-machine of a console:

(Road Rash 3)
And...

Brian Lara Cricket!

No argument best game ever; Super Mario Kart on the SNES. Back in my student days we threw £10 into a pot at the start of the term fastest lap time on rainbow road time trial at the end took it down. I was getting BOWZER round that by the end.
Honoury mention to Goldeneye on the N64 and HALO.
