wtf for? If we're gonna have mods we need sensible ones cause banning someone for 15,000 seconds for posting this.

The reason was your a fucking douche. I havn't said anything to hurt anybody. I'm not even that drunk at all and the only reason was because I posted the END of HH which wasn't even spam really.

I generally just let that kind of shit go because we all do it to some extent, but yaawn is by far the worst about it.

But the actual kick was for posting a hand history into the chat room instead of using a hand converter. This does basically the same thing as spamming the chat -- it just kicks everyone elses chat off the screen and is really obnoxious. Its worse because its basically a HEY GUYS SHUT UP AND PAY ATTENTION TO MY HAND NO MATTER WHAT YOURE TALKING ABOUT!!!

He knows better, and its not the first time I've kicked him for it.

Its basically the only rule in IRC. Don't post hand histories right in the chat window, convert them and post a link (in fact, I have a script that then picks up that link, and adds it to a searchable database so that someone can type !handlist and retrieve the last 3 posted hands, or !handsearch SpoonItNow (for example) and retrieve Spoon's last 3 posted hands.

I promise im not an IRC nazi. In fact I believe the only 3 people I've ever kickbanned for more than about 10 seconds have been dwarfman (perma) fatb (he thinks spamming is funny and does it to annoy me) and yaawn (he's, shall we say, not a thinking person.) but other than that, no one has gotten banned. You should all come check it out. You'll meet some cool people, and I promise you'll learn a lot.
