Well fellas something weird happened to me. My mom hardboiled some eggs and when I peeled the one and started eating it yesterday, it had 2 yolks in side. Out of the 10000000 eggs I have eaten I have never seen this. Then today at lunch I grab another one and guess what???? Another double. They were probably chickens grazing the chernobyl pastures or something because they looked more like siemiese twins than true individual twins.
(Bored at work obviously)

"Double yolks" actually occur with some regularity. They are usually weeded out during the packaging process; I get most of my eggs farm fresh eggs from some friends (alliteration unintended) and I often find about 1 a dozen thats a double yolk.
(Bored at home, maybe not so obvious)

Wow you learn something everyday. Here I thought it was some ultra rare thing with chickens. I was watching this show called "taboo" on the discovery channel once and it was all about strange foods eaten by certain cultures and I think it was in Korea or something where they eat like fully matured eggs that were just days from hatching. It was about the sickest thing I have ever seen but they seemed to like it.

jumbo eggs are often double yolks, at least they were 20 years ago, which I think was the last time I bought Jumbo eggs...
