Mine said to confirm it was May 26th, and that my trial had expired. I just switched up the date on my computer to an earlier date, and no more problemo.

My PAHUD stopped working a while ago due to other reasons and I haven't used it this past month. It was the best thing to happen to my game. I had become a bit of a HUDbot without realizing it.

i bought pt3 simply because this wasn't working and i didn't wanna figure out how to get it to work, but it looks like 0nce its fixed im gonna go pack to pt2 due to some mega irritating pt3 bugs. hud layout also sucks. fixed too many unbroken things imo

i dont deny that most players who use hud are hudbots, but some of us (me) are the exact opposite. i get sooooo much out of my hud because of how much ive used it, not because of what the stats mean when looked at in a vacuum. information provided by hud runs real deep, you just gotta be good enough with it to find it. i only use the default stats too. some day i may add some others, but it would take several 100k hands for me to understand what those stats meant. not to mention comfort. comfort is huge. pt3 gives me the same exact stats, but they're formatted differently than pahud, and this throws me off kilter, and the wee bit of that is way bad.

there are a lot of really useful stats in pt3 like folds to 3bet%. i just find it much harder to identify if someones a fish/reg/tag/nit/etc., while playing more than 6 tables.

lol, the first time i used PAHUD was like a year ago, maybe more and playing 2nl. i looked at someones stats and would just solely act based on them. like oh, this guy is really aggro, allll in. this guy plays 13% of his hands? fold.

i think many of the extra stats are just redundant, but maybe not. attempt to steal and 3bet% are probably decent, but really, nothing is nearly as good as vpip and pfr. i use af, but not much; its basically that ill use it when im on the fence about a decision, so there's not too much value there.

a problem with many stats is that they take so many hands to get accurate. like af by street, or c/r turn or whatever. those are almost pointless without huge samples, and then are usually pointless with huge samples since we then have history. vs some players, yes they exist, things like that work since they are robots, but those players are so simple and easy to figure out that you dont even need elaborate stats.

and fyi, i can tell a lot of about how many players play vs 3bets just by their vpip and pfr. has to do with when i said actually learning what the stats mean. also experience provides much understanding since i know how i thought about the game when i had certain stats.

and yea youre definitely right about identification of players with pt3. i think they said there's a way to apply color ranges to stats, but i couldn't figure it out. i also cant figure out how to move the stats around. if i could do both those, and if it wasn't glichy, then id love it

i disagree strongly with first paragraph. i have run across many 17/15 types that 3 bet from 2%-13%. on avg its probably around 7-8. vpip/pfr can not solely give you that information.

thanks to muzzard, i was able to configure it how i like. you can move the stats around by right-clicking and dragging wherever you want. also, if you go to Configure -> Configure HUD-> Configure HUD cash, in the stats tab, you can add lines to your hud so the stats on you table arent just one big line, by going to special, then add new line.

well i wasn't talking about their 3etting, but how they respond to 3bets. its not full understanding like i said, but im reluctant to add the stats because there will be a lot of trial and error and ill be off kilter. also, the more in depth stats get into the game the less valuable they are imo because there are simply so many more factors. this is partly why i feel that postflop stats are usually just pointless. the two, cbet% and fold to cbet% are probably by and far the best, but thats because cbetting has become a robotic thing.

and thanx, ill check it out

yeah i mean it certainly can take some trial and error, but its rarely really bad to 3 bet or whatever.

I agree also, I hardly ever know how I'm running at a particular table anymore. This better be fixed in the next release, which ALSO better be soon... Buying PT3 has been like the cashout-curse to me, and I'm not seeing the value in it yet...
