Post subject: Xmas prez 40gb or 60gb ps3

Ok gf is getting me a ps3. she will pay for the 40gb while i can add the difference to get a 60gb.
having research both models, it would seem that the 40gb is pretty much the best to go for right?????? AM i correct.
Note: I think i have one ps2 title therefore who cares aqbout backwards compatibility and if i do want to play then i can just plug in my ps2
40gb, 60gb why do i even need 20gb. I have an xbox 360 and i dont kno how much gb that has but i kno i prob havent even gone over 5gb.
Is there anything else im missing which shud make me get the 60gb. money isnt a problem but im not gonna pay over the top for anything

Because no one would pay for it because there's like 3 good online games for PS3 and two of those are Madden and Guitar Hero 3 which are on every system.

Warhawk is a very solid online game, as is Resistance: FOM.
Get whatever version you like better, they are all basically the same. The 80 GB comes with Motorstorm though, which is a fun game.

I also completely understand the 360 love, it is a great system and has great games. Currently it is a better system than PS3 but I think PS3 will start to make some ground up here in the coming months.
I modded 30+ xbox1's around where I live for a bunch of different people and loved me xbox.
However, I just don't understand why every time I or anyone else mentions PS3 that somebody with a 360 has to bash the system or the network or the games or the price or something... Have you ever even played on the PSN or are you just regurgitating what has been said by other 360 lovers? As far as I'm concerned the PSN has worked great for me. The only thing I don't like about it is there aren't very many people to play

There was an article somewhere on digg about the ps3's slow start but eventual move into mainstream popularity. It's only a matter of time. I'm buying one soon.

Somehow I knew that was the only thing you were going to see about that whole post. I will admit again to the 360 being better, but I won't go as far as to say that PS3 is a crappy system. Yes, currently 360's library crushes the PS3's. I think that the console race flip flopped though. I think that how in the end, for my money, xbox was a better system that PS2, it will end up the PS3 getting off to a shaky start and having a stronger finish by the time the next-next gen console race heats up.
In short, you are correct. Just give it a little time.

Believe me, if the PS3 starts getting some better 3rd party support, I'm definitely going to get one. But right now, I'd basically be buying a whole system for MGS4 and FFXIII.
