Ok there is life after poker even when I am playing 10 to 12 hours 5 to 6 times a week. Working out of the house and running my own company makes this possible but I am always thinking about poker and what i can do to be better.
So this is what my dumbazz did I have been seeing a girl dating and stuff for almost 4 to 5 months, but she was getting mad at me because moday to thursday nights i played in a local poker tourny.
Saturday is spent with college football and 2 poker tourny's getting home around midnight.
Sunday is pro football and baseball
Now some friends and I are planing on once a month taking 3 days and going to mississippi to play in live tourny.
She has been getting pissed when i would not answer my phone ( not cause i was being rude because i just dont carry it to the poker table) of the several times of hearing you are not spending enough time with her.
So after a big fight friday night what do I do call about 10 friends and hold a cash game that night.
Now she has said that if i dont make several changes she is gone.
damn i am going to miss her, but the question is it wrong to ask her to pack her stuff when I am not playing cards?

Poker will not clean the shit stains from your underwear, nor clean you up and put you to bed after a night of drinking and puking. Keep that in mind when making your decision of where to spend more time.

in my opinion, it sounds like you have dedicated ALL of your time to everything but her - Poker is great, football is great, but if you are selfish and its all about you and what you want to do, its better to let her go - And the way you wrote out your schedule, im surprised she is even asking you to change...plenty would be gone by then...
i am going to copy this and email it ot my wife though - always good to show he how bad it COULD be for her

Ummmm your gf definetely should leave you if you refuse to put any attention on her. I mean do you seriously expect any girl to go out with a guy who's schedule is completely packed and won't give up any of their time to her? No, they won't. So i suggest...
1. Either admit to yourself with your lifestyle you will never have a gf.
2. Change your commitments to get a gf if you want one.
