 dude, not even close to funny. I just opened poker stars and i tried to join a 400nl table and it says funds are insufficient, so im like wtf? i look in mmy account and there is $0.01 in it. WTF. im like freaking out right now. there is no history of transaction or cashout or anything. my account was at about 13.3k last night when i went to bed. has anything like this happened to anyone?

They don't transfer out from your account. They chip dump into another account and transfer out using that one.

Edit: Also, doesn't PS have a phone line you can contact them with instead of waiting for emails?

 TJ i just got my HH sent to me, and its saying i was playing on 5knl tables and 2knl tables. sauce123 was there, so maybe he will know something.

no, one other kid knows my password but i talked to him and hes one of my best friends and i know he wouldnt do anything like that. my computer is at my house and almost never leaves, and it is protected by a firewall.

My history its same....I win a tournament at PS....21k$....Next day my account has 1$....Someone was playing in 25NL tables...I sent a mail to PS, but they answered me with questions...2 mails...3....Finally 2 months later they said me that was my responsability the security of my account and they cant do anything....I went to the police and 6 months later I went to court and I Lost....I lost another 3000$ by my Attorney and court.....
My advice is that all must retire the money of the rooms....

This is horrible. I think usually they can't get the money back, but sometimes they can, especially if you take care of this TODAY. Put "urgent" in the subject line when you e-mail stars. See if you can get a security person on the phone, actually.

What can we do to make sure this doesn't happen, other than have a good virus scan? This is the main reason to keep most of your bankroll in a savings account IMO. Keep your chin up man, if the worst happens, you made 13K once and you can do it again.

spenda thanks for your concern, but you havent looked at the hh's. this guy was playing like 80% + of hands, and just playing like a total ass clown. for it to have been my friend, he would have to A) know high stakes players, which he doesnt, or B) deliberately want to bust my account, which is just retarded.

 no i looked on poker tracker and it wasnt from my comp. i dont see how it could be anyways. someone would have had to broken into my house, and logged on my comp.

yeah that friend is me that knows the password. and i dont know what else i can say other than I was playing on my acct at 50nl (lol!) during that time and didnt do it, and ive known Will since i was like 4 or 5 and would straight up not do that. swear on my unborn first childs grave.

 okay wait, some dude contacted me on msn, and said something about some promotional deal at poker-ide.com. the home page isnt working for some reason or another, but heres another page on the site {removed link}. idk if by clicking it bad things can happen, so.... but its supposed to be like, the equivalent of pokertracker, and i downloaded the installer for it, but never installed it. could that be whats going on?

yeah i know, but like, nothing else makes sense. i download the installer, and my computer crashes. my comp froze up a couple times after that later that night, hence the other thread i made.
