I couldn't find much information regarding how the trial went, etc. The only thing I could come up with in my quick search was:

Which states that only one of the individuals was sentenced to spend any time behind bars. And she was only sentenced to 15 days, of which she is likely to only spend 5 days behind bars. The rest of the individuals were given probation and had to write apology letters, of which two had not done at the time of the writing.
Courts = fail on this one imo.

A 9 year old and an 11 year old were beaten to near-death by a 10 year old and 11 year old. Kicked, punched, slashed, burned with cigarettes and one apparently had a sink dropped on his head. What a wonderful world.

Wow that video is pretty fecked. wtf at the two dudes standing watch outside? Others probably wont agree but if your in a position to stop something like this (like those guys) and choose not to your just as scum as those who directly participated. Also for punishment there is only one solution imo general population prison time frames isn’t too important a day would probably suffice. Let the cons do to them what they did to this girl.

I think of all of this, this is the sickest part. My heart goes out to the girl who has now had the rest of her life irrevicably changed because of this, but if we cannot trust our courts to punish these people accordingly (especially the 18 year old guys that "stood watch") then we are in for some hard times down the road. I also don't think this court decision would fly in any other country.

I was able to find a few more videos. Some covered the action that occurred in the bedroom in which the fight started, and others were interviews with some of the parents. One of the videos is an interview with the parents of the one of the males. The kid is claiming that he was not even there, but instead was sitting on his friends porch next to the house and when he heard the commotion he left to go get gas, and that he did nothing wrong. Also this dude's dad said that it was a simple one on one fight and that the sheriff is blowing things way out of proportion (like seriously? wtf... Chick gets hit by one girl, then goes towards the door only to get hit by another chick. One on One... Really?).

I've been trying to get people to understand this for the longest. Crime = jobs. Pretty fugged up, but real. Cops, Correction Officers, Security Guards, home alarm systems, etc... Also, criminals are better consumers than the average citizen. Honest Abe can't afford a product, he goes without until he saves and can afford the goods. Stealin' Steve robs Joe Blow and Joe goes out and buys another one. Two items sold. Who cares who made the purchase. The system goes out of its way to protect criminals, all the while saying to hell with the victims.
