A friend of mine and me are in the process of creating a website where you can bet on the outcome of poker tournaments on major poker sites. (e.g. last longer bets, bets who gets to the final table, who drops out first and so on).

The user would be able to set up the betting conditions himself (amount, odds).

Live betting would be possible.

Would you love to see such a site ?

My friend and I thought of doing one of these once, but there's just way too many problems that don't make it a good idea.

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

Let's not jump all over him just yet; looks like he's just seeing if there would be interest.

That being said, I think your market might be too limited. And if people really wanted to do something like that, they could use the x-bet function on matchbook.

Good idea, but I'm not sure it would work all that well.
