They played one of the best matches in the cup against Italy and lost in the final minutes because the ref called a bullshit penalty shot. I'm excited to see how they do this year.

I haven't done the maths but the answer is almost certainly no. Any edges like this are incredibly hard to find as they're immediately taken up by the professionals and sometimes Betfair themselves.

The best I can find is backing Germany to make the last four at 3.45 - they make the last four something like 68% of the time so there's clear value there.

I also think Brazil are a decent price to win it. They have a far better chance to win than anyone else IMO.

Probably, but every time a team outside the top 8 wins you'll lose massively, and the profit won't be as big as you think when it works out. I've looked into arbing the outright winner and the best I can do is a -1% ROI . A while ago you could get a 2/3% ROI on a couple of groups, but the edges seem so small that I gave up caring...

having said that I just looked at your link and it seems decent. You can add Portugal and Ivory Coast to the top 8 and you still get ~20% ROI. If you think the teams in the top 10 win more than 80% of the time then it's a good bet, and that seems pretty reasonable to me...
