It's 29 degrees here but raining like a motherfucker. WTF? It's supposed to turn into ice within a few hours, and we might get anywhere from a half inch to over an inch of ice everywhere.
Anyway, school has already been canceled tomorrow, so I don't have to teach.
What should I do with my day off?

play poker, but make it 'fun'. maybe drop two off your normal number of tables and add a few MTTs (that are well within your BR) for shits and giggles. I always find playing one or two of these while grinding makes it a lot more enjoyable.

which begs the question, does anything change if my wife has school canceled too? (she's currently going to nursing school, it'll be her third degree, she already has a bachelors in biology and master's in business. so far she still has school but I'm sure that'll change with a half inch to an inch of ice on the way) ohh, and she's hot too, so if my goal is 4k hands maybe change it to like 3975 hands so I can get some action in there or something?
p.s. power just went out for the second time, huge transformer blew up less than a mile from here, my wife saw it and compared it to lightning flashing really close but no sound.......it's still raining like cats and dogs here still but it's 31 degrees, that's below freezing wtf!

ice storms are nasty nasty, we had one when I was little and lost power for a week and had to huddle in front of the fire all day in our winter jackets

Every snow day I've ever had I've made a drink to celebrate. Tonight I made my drink about three hours before we "officially" had school canceled because the weather people said it was going to be that bad.
Well, so far it hasn't been that bad it's just rained a lot and it's 29 degrees out (wtf?). There's ice all over my trees and power lines and there was that explosion earlier when my power went off but then it came back...
But yeah I made a drink and then another, then another, and another........and now I'm here woot.

Yeah I think my junior year of high school (1997) we had a huge ice storm that knocked out our power for four days. My family (mom/dad/sister) all stayed in the same room with a portable heater that sucked. It's kind of weird but that's one of the cooler memories I have of growing up. We were forced to be in the same room for four days straight and I came away realizing that my mom/dad/sister are pretty damn cool.
It also gave me time to read a book for school that I had put off all quarter. That ice storm really saved my ass.

An Ice storm that we had in 1998 up in the north east and Canada had many people without power for between 2-4 weeks...
