for those of you that are watching wimbledon, has anyone else been annoyed by the bitching from the women players about having to play on the outer courts yesterday?
Why do they think it's sexism that all the biggest draws are on centre and 1 court?
I'll say it straight, who gives a shit about women's tennis? This is the entertainment industry. The fact that they are being paid the same as the men is a disgrace. Why should they be? The guys are playing more tennis and drawing in the crowds. The women are playing their two set shitty mismatches in front of nobody, and get paid the same, just for the sake of equality.
Did anyone at wimbledon ever actually step up and defend the reason why the men got paid more all these years?
ok, rant over, flame away

There was more excitement, drama and entertainment in the Murray v Gasquet match than all of the 8 Ladies matches combined yesterday.
Now that Sharapova and Ivanovic are out there is no reason to watch the Ladies.

All I have to say is Murray is a sick individual.

womens quarter finals are ugly as shit, get to court 11.
I'd love murray to win but Gasquet is not exactly the biggest challenge and he made hard work of it...

I love Wimbledon. Not cause I like tennis.
It means my girlfriend watches it and doesn't like to be interupted. So I get in a few hours extra poker a day than I'm usually allowed.
But to be fair the Murray game was quality last night. Shame he's a Sweaty though...

it'd be nice to see murray get past nadal (which is so so so unlikely) but the thought of him, or anyone else for that matter, beating Federer in the final is just way off. Nadal might give him a tougher match, but its not his year.

Also, I decided not to go to sleep, instead staying awake to watch this shit live. This is history in the making, no one since like 18-something or other has won 6 straight wimbledon's. Last person to win 5 in a row lost to a lefty, Johnnymac. That was Borg, hopefully Roger can pull this one out.

that tie-break was unbelievable! momentum to federer.
but, one quick bitch to the STL media. i know the Cardinals rule the ratings, and its the Cubs, but c'mon. dont bump Wimbledon for the 85th game of a 162 game season. or at least put it on another channel.
damned classic ensuing, 5th set after 4th set tie-breaker, #1 v #2, Wimbledon = Masters equivalent, serves rarely getting broken, and STL gets bumped for baseball?!

when you go like 1 for 13 on break points you don't deserve to win
When you're up 4-1 in the second and lose the set 6-4 you don't deserve to win.
Federer is going to be kicking himself for the rest of his life for not taking advantage of a ton of opportunities.

i think nadal would have been very heavily criticized for losing that 4th set tiebreak if he didnt pull it out. up 5-2 and you double fault?
|

ndultimate.
