Why aren't there more people posting in the high stakes NL forum? Traffic is low, and of the people that actually browse there, very few people make posts. Besides Ping and I, not very many people have anything to say on a regular basis. Sometimes Bmxcicle drops by with a snide remark or two, and michael has some insightful posts, but overall not much goes on. I know there's more of you out there who play higher than 3/6 NL, why don't you make a contribution to the high stakes forum instead of trolling at community. Rant over.

My guess is that most people playing high-stakes poker are too busy playing high-stakes poker to bother to comment about high-stakes poker in the high-stakes poker section of FTR.

I would like to see more posts as well.

FTR could have the same quality posts (although not quite as many) in out high-stakes section, just like 2+2 does. Our high-stakes players know just as much (if not more) about those games/stakes.

The difference, though, is that the posters there think they are god's gift to poker and feel the need to prove it every chance they get. The high-stakes guys here may think they are god's gift to the game but don't feel the need to shove it in your face on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.

Still, I'd like to see more high-stakes posts around here.....but I like our community just the way it is.

Heh.

Is it just me or is there less traffic from the oldskoolers in the HEHH and HES fora as well? I'm a small buyin NLer.

It seems like when I first started out 'Rilla was posting in there frequently dispensing his unique brand of wisdom, as were people like Rondavu and DimitriT. Not that they don't post anymore (actually, I think the last time I saw Dimitri was on the side of a milk carton ), but the volume seems to be less. True, fnord still goes on a postspree every now and then though...

I feel rather rotten whoring for information without being able to help any but the newest of the new, but am hesitant to give possibly bad advice. Should I move more towards 2+2 (*shudder*).

Our player base started from the group up. It's only been around for 1.5 years. Give it time.

There are like 10 posters who actually play 3/6NL or higher on FTR. But good thing that you found that "not a member yet, register" button on 2p2 again

like UG said, they think they are gods gift to NLHE ring and want to prove it every time they just possibly can.

This could change but we definitely have to get more of our high stakes players to post
