take an enormous dump on the national anthem? Treat the song with respect. The superbowls national anthem was about the worst I've ever heard and for the pro bowl some chick named Jojo decided that bouncing around on every note held longer than 2 beats would make her special.
Just sing the song as it was written, please.

I prefer when they get some old fat opera singer guy to sing it, I think it sounds the best then, not when some pop dumb fuck girl sings it.

There was that one where the girl forgot the words to it haha. I personally dont have too much respect for much at all. The national anthem isnt an exception, I feel like getting all bent out of shape over it is like being superstitious. Its like getting upset when you step on a crack, cuz youre worried it will break your mothers back. Trust me if the national anthem is sung bad, the founding fathers will not rise from the dead and hunt the listeners down. I promise...

The thing bout the girl forgetting the lines was, she just froze from fear, and the assistant coach of the b-ball team helped her sing as did the rest of the crowd. I thought that was a great moment in sports, to show the compassion to help someone out who is living out the most embarrassing moment of their lives on national TV, true class.
It could have been very easy to just laugh at this poor girl and scar her for life.
