You ask a lot of seemingly dumb questions. I'm one of a dozen people or so who have expressed this directly to you to no avail.

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

Asking a questions a minute is annoying especially when the questions are things like "how do you search for a player?"...
"What does CiB mean?"...
followed by...
"Why would you do that?"...
|
|
So you click their picture and then you get their money?

Well, it was explained to me what CiB meant, but I didn't know whether it was a useful "move" or not. I think it's completely justified. Sure, I forgot that searching for a player on Stars is under Request. I don't normally look people up on Stars. For me it's faster to ask while I'm looking through all the menus in hopes that someone will answer. If no one answers it's 0 EV. If someone answers before I find it it's +EV.
Asking a question is always going to be 0 EV if no one answers. But if someone answers it's +EV. Half of the shit I asked was answered. So if I asked half of the questions I did, even the stupidest bottom of my range, I wouldn't get all of the answers I got. Maybe I wouldn't know how counterfeitting works in Omaha and you guys wouldn't think I'm annoying. But fuck it, I'd rather be thought of as a fool than to be one.

"There's no such thing as a dumb question."
I'm a high school teacher and that statement is absolutely false.

Yeah, you really do. I'm all for people getting involved and asking questions and getting actively involved and stuff, but there is a lot to say for people who work a bit to figure things out for themselves before they ask a barrage of questions.
The most recent example was when you asked if you had A2xx on 3455 if you still had the nut low on the turn or something. I think this was last night in IRC.
It can be better to ask too many questions than not enough, imo.

No it was a little different, I was asking about when you pair your card I think the board was 2345 or something, so I was asking whether I have the nut low since I paired my card. So while I still have the nut low I got "counterfeitted" because any ace has a nut low on this board and I'm getting quartered if there's a flush out there. It's not that it makes your hand worse, it just improves everyone else. I didn't really understand the concept of counterfeitting in O8 until we had that discussion.

lol spoon you remind me of a lot of my college professors, really smart and knowledgeable but if you ask a question they make sure to make you feel dumb and inferior before answering it.

If someone asks a question without putting any thought into the question then it's quite frequently a dumb question. Against some people making them feel dumb is amusing and not detrimental. Helping people learn how to ask good questions can be more important than answering their question.
This is obv easier to pull off IRL.

I stopped playing after UIGEA because I couldn't get my money out from poker sites, didn't know how to deposit in the ones that still allowed US players and I was generally afraid they're going to crack down on all sites and I wouldn't be able to get my money out
I just recently started playing again
