Barry said the same thing, but he got accused of lying. Wasn't really proved, other than pretty much the same way as in Roger's case. Everybody says he's guilty, he's a fraud, he cheats, he should be on death row, etc.
Now Roger says "I DIDN'T DO IT BITCHES" and everbody believes him? I must be missing something here

What reasons does McNamee have to lie?
Roger has a lot more to lose by these allegations being proven true so it behooves him much more to lie, hence I vote for him.

i think clemens is lying also. McNamee seems shady as fuck, but what reason does he have really to do this, especially if Petit and whoever else admited to it already.
Lol at his evidence though, who keeps shit like that around for 8 years? do you think he had needles and bloody gauze in the veggie drawer in his fridge?

Clemens is lying because his lawyers probably tell him that he can get away with it because of how un-credible McNamee is. Clemens will deny it to the death and i bet nothing ever gets figured out and Clemens goes on as a player who "maybe" took steriods.

Man just watching Clemens throughout the hearing I could see the guiltiness just oozing out of him. I loved some of the questions they were being asked. My fav was when they asked him if he thought his pal Pettite was a liar, and he just stumbled around for a bit and then spit out that misremembered line. And then when they asked about the conversation Pettite and him had where he apparently told Pettite he was using HGH, Clemens was just like, "I think he misheard." Lol what a joke he is. Also, I liked when he read from his papers, "Let me be clear, I have never taken steroids or HGH." That was about as emotionless and unconvincing as you can get.

Weren't they going to throw him in jail if he didn't tell them? So all he has to do is make up a whole giant list of people he gave shit to and he is a free man. Screw everybody else, save yourself.
Either way, he still probably is telling the truth.

If congress would have never gotten involved in the first place then there would still be no steroid testing in baseball. The only reason they brought Clemens in for deposition along with Andy and Chuck is because Clemens was claiming in public that McNamee lied to federal investigators and the Mitchell report wasn't legit.
