So yesterday I am playing hu 100nl vs some nit that I have a huge edge over. I wind up losing 2 flips with combo draws vs an overpair and then get sucked out on pretty bad. I proceed to go on tilt and donk off a 200bb pot with air in a terrible situation.

I'm pretty much furious at myself and can't believe I made such a stupid play, I'm going to save some face and avoid telling you guys what happened exactly. To take my mind off my idiocy I go down to the grocery store, pick up some Vodka and a couple beers and start drinking with my room mates. Pretty soon I completely hammered. After a couple games of GTA4 I decide the only smart thing to do now is play poker.

I sit down at a 10nl table on Full Tilt and start punishing the weaklings by open pushing every hand. I get one of my buddies to come sit with me to and we both play pretty LAG, something like 60/50 lol. Anyways along comes some donk who starts open pushing hands with us too. I'm continuously talking shit in the chat, and floating three streets and complaining when 6th street doesn't gets dealt.

This donk loses a flip to me and says something back to me. I talk some more shit about his inability to perform and me servicing his mom and he challenges me to a HU game for rolls. I decide taking this 10nlers roll should be fun and gladly except. He says he just has enough money for 50nl hu.

I find a table and we starts playing. I get it all in on him in a 3 bet pot with top pair against his flush draw and he winds up sucking out. Then I lose top two vs his set. At this point I start to realize hes playing pretty well. Raising dry flops, 3 betting. Defiantly not like a 10nl donk. I google his name online and he pops up in a couple threads on 2p2 that other people wrote. Apparently playing 400nl-600nl. I start asking him some questions and he says he thinks I'm a cool guy and a pretty good 10nler and tells me there are easier games out there and I should probably quit. I'm stubborn and drunk so I keep playing. I find out that he plays 1000nl one of the Prima networks regularly. As the game continues I wind up swinging back and taking three buy ins off of him.

Its kind of funny how we both thought we were going to empty a 10nl donks bankroll while drunk only to get a pretty good player.
Flopping quads and boats like its my job

hah!

good story. Booze & poker are a fun but expensive habit.

The other night, drunk, Drew and I decided to donk around at a 25NL table. I ended up spewing 2 BIs playing basically a 60/30 game

nice one santacruz.

It's times like these when you have to increase the cost of entertainment in your head, just to feel a little better. Usually doesn't solve the problem for me but it doesn't hurt either.

The other night was great.... pushing 72o UTG AI w/100bb WTF idiot.
