Do you mean books or authors? I like reading Chuck Palahniuk (Fight Club, Choke). That book A Million Little Pieces rocked, I like the Harry Potter books (did I just admit that?), I've read most of the recent bestsellers and grab any random New York Times Bestseller if I'm in the book store. I've read all those books by Brown (Da Vinci Code, etc), but kinda lost interest in the action fiction stuff.
I also dig reading stuff on Quantum Physics - man, those reads are mind blowing, maybe we are living in the Matrix and creating our own reality.
Batman comic books, technology and gadgets, NBA basketball, real estate, webmaster stuff, and of course FTR are all fun reads for me too.
Maybe I should read about Leprechauns, I hear they're the shit.

I also find this stuff pretty fascinating, although it's been a while since I've read into it at all. Of late, the vast majority of my reading comes from FTR and 2p2, which um, can't POSSIBLY be making me any smarter.

The original post is at fault for not defining a complete response.
As stands, all responses appear satisfactory.

"whats your favorite thing to read and why"
there are two questions. answering both is considered a complete response.
now that ive outlined it for you, there should be nothing but complete responses henceforth

My favourite bit of reading matter is a british car/driving magazine called Evo.
Why? Because the writing and photography are brilliant. It's so exciting to read it gives you goosebumps.
New issue out soon.

The obituary for my dynamics teacher becuase I do not like him and have had very bad luck with his quizes. I've missed 3 classes, all 3 of which had quizzes and I left class 4 mins early becuase he just tacked on an extra problem to review that I had no trouble with and he apparently had everyone just sign their names to get a quiz grade.

I got into reading John Irving novels for a while (World according to garp, Cider House Rules, A Prayer for Owen Meany) and before that I dug Kurt Vonnegut's books. Lately I am enjoying the Harry Potter series, oh and HOH 1 and 2, of course.

I see... I dont really mind what I drive as long as its stick light and rwd. Sadly Im currently driving my brothers spare car which is a '99 crown victoria. What the police drive... and it actually used to be a police car then a cab, he bought it through a freind who runs a shop that paints cab cars adn resells old ones. Like I said its a '99 and used to be a cab and possibl ya police car before that, it has well over 350,000 miles on it. And it still runs strong.
Its a cool car though, cheap leather interior that feels like a couch, and its big as hell and stuff. We have these things called speed humps on our side streets so that people dont blaze down them. They are like large speed bumps, a lot smoohter then typicall speed bumps though. Anyways you are suppoed to go 15 mph or slower over them. In the crown vic it seems the faster you go the smoother it takes them. We often just hit em at 50 mph.... the cushy suspension just glides over them heh...

EDIT: okay, here's why: read all his stuff in college when it was all exciting and whatnot. now it's meaningful
