Is it just me, or does it seem like people are posting less since news of the gaming legislation broke?
Or is it because you guys are back in school?
Do you still love me?

Hey X man.
I think the whole situation is really bearing down on the US players.
There is less play I think and a worry of what site will be out next.
Alot of players are afraid to make moves to other sites, I have heard talk in the rooms about trouble cashing out etc. And if Neteller goes out ther will be a mass panic.
There has been no positive press on this all you hear about is bad.
I mean just look at your home page of poker room listings. US vs. Other.
It's like 4 to 1 against.
I was on Bonuwhores this morning and the poker sites out there look really weak and "goofy", kind of looks like an internet scam page.

I think I'm posting more at the moment - lack of motivation at work, ego boost of getting into a nifty club, my blog, and my moving up adventures (stop laughing back there - I've been pwning $50 and £50NL this week, about $650 up) all give me reason to think and post about poker.
As an older non-yank I think I have less to contribute to most of the community boards; and I also have off-FTR friendships with 3 or 4 FTRers which give me a lot of pleasure (not like you think, bigred).
So yes, FTR still roxors - I hope you lot can keep your peckers up because online poker in the US will be okay. I promise.

you dont understand this guy. this guy was playing any 2. he would push AI almost every hand i would check to him. this is the reason i played it so passivly.
i even through in a min raise
besides, i had him outchipped like 3:1. i dont think im folding there ever with AA

Personally, I love min-raising to get opponents to push over, but I'm a fish.

My AA usually is blended in nicely in my absolute myriad of huge preflop reraises. It gets concealed nicely.

Im broke. Desperately (and successfully) staying ontop of my school work. Once again trying to diet which seems almost impossible this time around (even after swearing sobriety i've gain GAINED 3 pounds in 2 weeks.)
Just got back from UVA beating the Hokies at soccer. The game was awesome becuase every so often it gets quiet and you can shout shit that everyone hears. Like I told one of the uva players named Jonathan, "HEY JOHN! JOHNATHAN! YOUR LIFESTYLE IS A SIN" and i heard the entire place crack up. That made me really happy.

I love you so much, Shane.
I'm sitting here pre-drinking alone and reading FTR. I'm too cool
I'm gonna go out and see some "local BC talent" though ... does that sound sketchy?
