So we have:
Poker Royale
WPT Tour events - Bad Boys, Ladies of Poker, Tournament of Champions etc
Celebrity Poker Showdown
and BLAH BLAH BLAH....

What's next and what do you the POKER FANS want to see....

More Money,
More Characters
More Drama
More Sex...

What is it that makes the NEXT Poker show the one that makes it to one of the "Big 3" (sorry Travel Channel) and is the success that is waiting to be made

Saw a high-profile strip poker game with Kato Kaelin behind the idea. Full of Playboy and Penthouse models.

I wonder if HBO is looking for a poker show?
I don't know what they have to say
It makes no difference anyway.
Whatever it is...
I'm against it.

Speed games(I hope) . Good thing I have a Replay, I can't stand to watch those things w/o skipping thru the dead spots and commercials. I can watch a 2hr tournament in about 35 minutes easy.

Only the die hard would care, and you'd need an entire poker channel to pull it off, but I'd love to see live matches. Or at least something not edited down so it makes poker look like an all-in every hand kind of game.

I'm also very surprised by how little actually fundamental strategy/technique is commented by the announcers. They never say things like "Standard 3x BB opening raise" or "This is an ideal blind steal" or "He should bet the pot to push out draws." It's always just vague shit like, "He should raise" or "That's a monster, lets see how he extracts the most money." If you're not paying very close attention you never know what the blinds or relative stack size. I guess it'd be great if you could see all that table information. Again, only something real poker enthusaists would want to watch and would need it's own network.

BTW, just wanted to hit my 500th post.

Well, in that case, how about a Bulldog, Mastiff, Saint Bernard, Great Dane and Boarder Collie play for $1million?

Is this a shameless attempt to get free production ideas? Sorry, but I'm a suspicious bastard...
