Im sure you are all familiar with the biblical explaination for where women come from.
Genesis 2:21 - " And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man" (King James Version, Genesis 2:21–22)
So apparently God whips out a rib of Adam and makes Eve out of it. Ok. There is a little problem with this theory though.
Anatomically, men and women have the same number of ribs - 24. When this fact was noted by the Flemish anatomist Vesalius in 1524 it touched off a wave of controversy, as it seemed to contradict Genesis.
Hmmm ok so we have the same number of ribs. Maybe He ment it to be that way but there is another possible explaination.
Fact 1
The baculum (penis bone) is a bone found in the penis of most mammals. It is absent in humans, equids, marsupials, lagomorphs, and hyenas, amongst others.
Fact 2
Biblical Hebrew does not have a word for penis so It's quite possible that the word "rib" was a mistranslation.
Ill let you draw your own conclusions.

In my experience it's usually the woman who's asleep during sex, though I seem to drop off pretty quickly afterwards.

noooonono. That whole thing is a translation from hebrew. They obviously got embarressed trying to make up penis words so they just called it 1 of his ribs and glossed over it.
