I have never been so disappointed with the ending of a video. Why the hell did Scotty have to win?
I liked him before, but it's antics like this that force me to have contempt for him.

two nights in a row I'm watching poker through closed fingers.
First V Selbst goes on epic monkey tilt and sets the image of women's poker back about 10 years.
Then scotty ruins what should be been the greatest moment of his career. Hopefully seeing that last night (especially against the chip reese backdrop) will sink in but I doubt it.
Upside, Lindgren again shows he is super awesome.
@ will - the DeMichele guy took a bow after winning a couple early pots. Edog sorta mocked him and scotty gave him a talking to and that was that until "COCKTAILS!"

I used to think Lindgren was kind of a pointless guy at the tables. Someone who was good at poker and was on TV because he was friends with all the others. But the more I see of him the more I think he's probably the most secretly cool guy in the tv crowd. The denial of Layne Flacks high five was so key.
What's that about Selbst blowing up? I can't find anything on it.

He could have been a great champion but Scotty flushed it all down with his behaviour. Makes Phil Hellmuth almost look like an angel. I would have decked him. Lindgren came out looking good and him leaving Flack hanging is soooo awesome.

watch the whole thing on pokertube before being quick to jump the gun
this dimichele guy was taking bows for every pot he won, slowrolling seed, etc. then lindgren won a pot off him, and also bowed to mock him, they were probably all getting tired of him. lindgren was getting visibly upset at dimichele, allegedly he told scotyy about it and this infuriated scoty too (towards end of episode you will see this part). then scotty had some beers in (and probably remembered last years main event) got chatty when down to 4 players and then went medieval on dimichele when berman got knocked out, since he did the bow thing again; and lindgren got caught in the crossfire
this is all episode 9
im not defending him, since we are all accountable for our actions; i'm just stating how things went down

A few years ago,2006 I was at the Legends of Poker when it was down to twn Players. Scotty was one of them and this is the year they had a Charity Event for the family of Paul hanamum who was a WPT camera man and died suddenly leaving a pregenant wife.
Scotty told the final table to take 50 or 60 thousand off the top prize and donate it to the family and everyone agreed. Pretty special in my book. Scotty had his aces cracked and didn't make the TV table but I have seen more kindness than drunken stupidity from Scotty.
I believe his wife probably wrote the apology for him. I didn't read it all, it was not seperated and hard to read, but if he was the jerk we saw Tuesday night on TV he would have never attemted to apologize.

Eh, there's more to this than is really shown on video. It's been told that Lindgren got him drunk on purpose so that he would play worse/act like this/whatever.
