What do you do while you play poker, thats for the people who dont 8 table and shit(unless they can magically mkae mac and cheese while 8 tabling)
I usually talk to people on AIM and listen to music.
I was playing a SnG just now and was like Im so screwed it got to heads-up and I had 2k he had 11kish, Im like well 2nd is good, but then Queen "I want it all" came on and I took that shit down hard. That SnG kicked major ass becasue with 4 left I had half a SB for like 4 orbits. What kept me going was the 70chips in a SnG where average stack was a few K in the tales of poker forum. Never count yourself out.

So far, all of the above. I have some WPT and WSOP videos I watch. I almost always listen to music. I talk to people on AIM, albeit not as quickly as they'd like, and I sometimes forget about them.
I usually browse the forum a little bit while I play, and some other websites.
That's all if I'm playing four tables. When I play six or more, it gets kinda tedious with all the tables popping up.

I play more poker. If u can do more stuff add more tables. I just play 8 tables that way u dont have time to do anything but click.

I'm pretty much the same, I don't usually allow myself to wander around much. I don't 8-table, but I always try to push myself to have a more intense focus on my play and really buckle down if my mind starts to wander. As for music, I can't listen to music and play poker. It's so hard for me unless the music is extremely soft or ambient. The noise interferes with my thinking I guess.
I used to watch movies during MTTs and still did quite well. Maybe that's because MTTs are centered around less decisions. Now I play 6-max LHE and it really takes all of my focus.

Matters what I'm doing. If it's full ring then I'm nut camping with PT running with a HUD so I don't need reads and I'm playing 2-4 tables. This allows me to browse FTR, chat with friends, FTR IRC, listen to music, and browse danecook.com.
When it comes to SNG's, I'm playing 6-8 tables and that's all I'm doing.
Oh, I'm always on the FTR or 100k vent when I'm playing unless tracey starts hitting on me like she always does and I have to leave because I can't concentrate.

I try to observe the other players, even when I'm not in hands. That said ,there is still time for other things. I have the tv on in the background and a lot of times I work on ftr between hands and surf the net.

i look at ftr, or other fine artwork for gentleman that can be found online.
i listen to music when I can. i am weird, I concentrate like 25x better when i listen to music, especially with headphones.'
i also flex my muscles and think about how awesome i am.

J/K about the above post of course...I usually have FTR up in case I need to post a HH and I try to act like I'm having a conversation with my wife if she's around. That way I can avoid blue balls later on, ya dig?

I do most of the things listed on her, but out of all those things though, I find music is the best, it puts me in a good mood, and isnt too intrusive, visual stuff distracts me too much I think.
