My wife just said, "oh no, I'm covered in poo!". She wasn't literally covered but seemed to have a fair bit smattered on her leg. Q - Do i help her or not?

I suggest you post your question to an internet forum while she continues to yell for help.
Then weigh all options carefully.
You've also got to look at the risk that you'll end up covered in poo yourself. And would this be of her doing?
Whatever you do, don't rush into any quick decisions.

Re-reading thread sober the next morning. Lol'd at a few suggestions (WildBob's particularly).
Don't think it was poo in the end. Just looked like poo. I'd forgotten the whole incident this morning because I was so smashed last night until the wife reminded me and I kind of remembered posting something.
