Ive done like 6 marathon sessions since last friday. I do them a lot. I don't have much else to do until monday. Its either sit and play poker or sit and play xbox or go drinking. One of these is more +EV than the others.

Yeah, odd. Who knows what that was. Likely I was ahead, but pot is small, and its gonna be expensive to find out if I'm the winner. Villain is shortstacked so I was hoping he'd commit himself on a non-A flop. But maybe fourbetting woudla been better. Who knows.

Thanks for the GL's everyone.

If you're beat, you're not getting away from the hand when two half-pot bets by him will put you all-in. The pot is out of control already, it's too late to worry about pot control at this point. From lots of your posts it seems like you take passive lines that let people take you to value-town when you're beat but you don't get value when you're ahead.

Why did you call the flop raise then? Do you have any cause to think your Ace is no good? Against someone this retarded you have an all-in hand.

I figured it was more likely good than not, but that it had more value as a bluff catcher.

I'm not sure I quite understand .. umm, whatever it is I dont understand. I guess the difference between turning my hand into a bluff and when there is thin value.

He's tearing you apart with his little bets/raises to get you to fold when you miss. If you just check/call down you won't get lots of value from his bets, but if you take over you might get him to make a really bad calldown for lots of money.

Don't confuse this clown with the guys who only bet it when they got it. His typical hand is not much of anything.

Play tighter, fast play more, lead into opponents when you hit more often to exploit their calling (they probably won't bet very big anyway), put people on hands and figure out who's raising when top pair hands are no good.

Sweet, I found my girlfriends birthday present. Tickets to a brooks&dunn/Alan jackson concert. Not a fan myself, dont even know their shit, but she likes em.

I just cant decide whether we want floor tickets or Club Lounge tickets. Floor tickets are $75, lounge are $89. Not a huge difference, but the experiences are certainly different.

Arena Club Lounge offers luxurious amenities and comfort within just a few yards of your lower level club seat. The Lounge is accessible to Club Seat holders only, and offers an upscale environment with the only full service cash bar on the lower level, high-end plush leather furniture and an upgraded dinner menu. In all, the Club Lounge offers the optimal live event experience that will satisfy even the most discerning of concertgoers. The Lounge also includes a private entrance giving you the ability to access the arena without waiting in line and providing easier access to your vehicle following the concert. Every Club Seat comes with a cushioned, wider seat as well as elbow rests and cup holder. This package includes access to the Lounge only. Food and drink will be offered at an additional cost.

versus: standing up.
