Post subject: Weird how I always write papers drunk

1. wait until night before final is due
2. poland spring full of cheap whiskey
3. Library
4. I always do my works cited and introductory paragraph as well as gather all my sources before I get to drinking. This can sometimes take hours as I find I'm unable to concentrate on school work without strong drink.
5. Once mentally ready, descend to coffee shop and fill 2/3 large cup with strong, black coffee (should be 11:00 pm or later by now)
6. Other third whiskey
7. While taking casual sips expound upon the introductory paragraph that it took you 3 hours to write. let it flow.
8. when requisite number of pages is complete, hastily pull together ur disparate tangents into some kind of conclusion that props up your well thought out thesis.
9. play at least two sessions of hu during all this to revamp creative juices.
AND WRITING PAPERS IS FUN AGAIN!

Step 11) Email paper to smart but unattractive girl at 5am, so that when she gets up at 8am she can proofread it as you get 4 hours of sleep before turning it in at 10.
(this might not be on your list but it was standard for me...)

I wrote a poem for a creative writing class with my buddies after a long night of drinking. I ran into a girl from my class at a bar and she asked what I had written about and I realized I had completely forgotten about the assignment. We wrote it on a bar napkin...it was terrible.
