No, not the SNL Weekend update, Steve's weekend poker update.

Tuesday night, as I am crawling into bed, my IM goes off. I reluctantly check to see whats up. A player has invited me over to his place to play 25¢/50¢ NL, against all the drunk friends he has over. Tough decision, sleep (mmmm sleeeep) or go crush the drunks (mmmmm poooooker). I arrived at 11:30, keep in mind that I arrive at work 8:30 am, and buy in for $20. One partular drunk is continuously taking money from everyone else, and then dumping it to me. At 1:30, I'm up to around 80 and call last round for me; somehow I managed to keep playing 'til 2 and cash out $125. A note to all: DRUNKEN POKER IS GOOD!! I decided to give myself Wednesday off from work, as a small reward, because I was quite tired.

Thursday was all turkey, no poker. Friday, I was back at the drunken game, they were all sober so we played for 9 hours and I made $62.

Saturday and Sunday were quite annoying. Playing online, I went through small upswings, followed by large downswings. Overall, I lost $80. Playing in live games, I had small profits. Buy in for 100, cash out 108; but wait, I spent $16 on dinner. Doh!!

However, Sunday night I went for a rematch, against a player who hosted because he lost a bunch at my Saturday game. We wound up playing two NLHE tourneys; I won 1 and dumped the second, in order to keep myself on the invite list. The third tourney was a PL mixed game. One round of each: HE, 7-Stud, Omaha, Draw. One player went out on the first hand, the new big-stack dwindled down-n-out, and I had an awsome heads-up finish where I only lost 3 hands against the 2nd place player. These were short notice, 4 player $10 tourneys, so I had a total profit of $40, but they were fun.

Overall on the weekend, after food and all the other stuff I made $160 in live games and lost 80 online. Not my best of weekends, but not my worst either.
Is that guy still part of the forum??
