Interested to see how the Texans do on the road against a decent defense, fortunately for us the Vikings have had trouble defending the pass.
Also, lolCulpepperaments

failing to see how churning out the bottom spots of the roster of the worst team in recent memory is a bad thing...

|
The older I get, the more I start wondering; Just what in the hell is going on here?

Dante Fumblepepper is done, did you see him play for the Raiders? He's been sitting around for a whole year and likely won't play this year. Yeah, this will end well. We should be trying to develop Stanton.

Go live in Houston, ldo
Or get a dish?
I live in Billings Montana, we do get Broncos games weekly, but you'd figgure the Minnesota Vikings, one of the 3 California teams, or maybe the Chiefs would be on, right?
Nope, Bank on the Bears, and Colts each and every goddamn week.
All I've wanted to do all years is watch the Chiefs get anally raped. The one game I could watch, the Broncos couldn't win against Higschoolers that day.

I agree that Daunte is most likely done judging from his time in Miami and Oakland. Don't forget though, he had one of the best years as a QB in the history of the league in '04, when he certainly would have been the MVP had it not been for Peyton Manning's historic year.
I know that was 4 years ago which is an eternity in the NFL. But what does it cost the Lions? Without checking the details, I'm guessing it's a 1-2 year contract with little, if any guarenteed money. You won't be able to convince me that the roster spot means anything either.. not on the '08 Lions. So it costs virtually nothing, except possible development time for Stanton.......... but I can't imagine that Culpepper is coming in to be the starter... Marinelli can't possibly be that stupid....

Manning's 04 season was easily better than Brady's 07 season. Manning had a higher rating, higher yards/throw, less turnovers, and was better in just about every category.
Of course Brady threw one more TD, but a lot of those were late in the game where Belichick and crew was just running up the score. Dungy's squad would go to the running game or QB kneel at the end of the game and left a lot of those same TD's on the field in the name of class (something that the Pats organization obviously lacks, see: Vince Wilfork).
