I've been running a 30" and a flipped 20" for a while, and I've had another 20" just laying around. Today I finally got around to installing a second (PCI) graphics card and get a triple monitor setup going. I was a little worried about driver issues, I've read about people having problems with dual card setups even from the same vendor. Luckily the install was pretty much painless.
As far as screen layouts go this is pretty much perfect for me. I've got the lobbies and SpadeEye windows on the left monitor (along with a minimal part of the HoldemManager report window - I like to keep track of how many hands I've played in the session, but try to avoid looking at the $ won/lost). Main monitor has the 6 tables along with the SmartNotes main window and an odds/outs chart (lol, even after playing a couple of years I like to keep this handy just in case ). Right monitor has the HM Active players analysis window and the hand replayer, along with BigPotGrabber and WinAmp.
Pic quality is meh, I suck at teh photography.

Sweet setup.. I'm Jealous of the 30"
I used to have 4, a 22", a 20" and old fashion 17" CRTs
I upgraded to Vista and my 2nd video card is not compatable, so I'm back to 2 for the time being, I'll be upgrading to 3 or 4 when I can afford it, I've priced out those 30" s, at least $1,600 I think. you must be kicking ass and taking names!!!

I just found this picture from 2 years ago, it's a pretty ghetto setup, a 20", 2 old CRTs and my 27" TV hooked up to the TV out of one of my video cards ( old TVs have very low resolution and it's hard to read text ).

i dont understand why you need 3 monitors. it just seems excessive, as far as poker is concerned. dont you forget about tables when you are looking across 3 screens?

for me it's not about spreading all the tables out. i keep them on the center monitor (i.e. the 30 incher). 6-12 tables fit easily.
left monitor (i.e. 20 incher running 1200x1600) is where all the poker goodies go... pokertracker, pokerace, buddy list, etc.
right monitor (the other 20) i'd put all the misc garbage at... itunes, AIM, porn, etc.
this is of course when i actually used to *play* poker, it's been a while

nice Halv, also good timing on getting this nice setup and then deciding to get a real job instead...
I got a 22inch widescreen which makes it pretty hard to multi-table well b/c its 1680/1050... can any1 suggest a better setup than just getting another 22inch widescreen? (Can it fit with another size monitor if I rotate it sideways? idk..)

i have a 19" (reg., not widescreen) next to a 22" WS and they have the same vert dimension if thats what your talking about. 10 tables fit pretty well, but i never play more than 8. I think its the same as the pic jyms posted.

Bode- Cool thx, but you're not inverting the 22inch right? I wanna invert it and put an even bigger screen next to it..
I just checked, it seems that 30inchers have 2560*1600... it should fit well with my inverted 1680*1050 screen?
edit: Meh ppl mentioning Inspiron 530 have too small power supply to handle a 30inch screen... lame!

WOOT. Got another 22" but it's dilemma time. I have 2 x 22" and a 19". The 19" and the 22"s are the same vertically. What would be best to set it up?

Keeping in mind that I play tables on the 22" and run my programs on my 19" If I play 6+ tables I tend to use half of the 19" as well since I don't like to minimize the tables fully. I like the symmetry of option #2 but having tables on the left and right may be an issue for playing.

Looks sweet.
And don't feel embarrassed about having odds/outs chance, I printed one out when I first started playing in 2004, and have kept that same printout with me for every session I have ever played since
