So, I'm putting up two videos on a site that I run for a band. The thing is, they (the record company) would like it streaing only - no downloads.
I know that this is impossible, but my goal is to make one of those streaming vids that you can't just save, or type the file name in your browser and download. I know there are always ways to download anything, but this kind of solution would be fine.
The question is, how the heck do I make a video streaming and "undownloadable"? I've heard something about streaming servers, will I have to rent space on these?

At least all the poker videos that are streamed are made with camtasia. I am not sure if you can convert your current vids to a streamed file but I will look into it.

Well, making the video, embed it on a page and make it streaming in a nice format (HTTP srtreaming) is no problem. The problem is making one of those "undownloadable" files, but I guess you'll need a streaming server or something for that. Otherwise, just putting it up will make it easy to just write the URL and grab it.

You could probably do it by making the video flash/shockwave and use PHP to hide the filename/location
