Hey Buxx, would you like to buy some shares in the Dwarfman Foundation for the Short?

Yea, I watched it from 6 players down. They made a deal at 2. He was short stack at 6. Blinds were pretty large, which caused it to be a fold fest to whoever raised pre-flop for every hand. Occasionally someone would go all-in pre-flop and get called, and then eliminated, but otherwise, no post-flop play. Congrats to him though, I couldn't believe that payday.

Exactly my thoughts, maybe he's too busy winning money. Now if that was Micheal or Rippy or Fnord....etc. I'd be alot more excited. Hell, :P I'd be happy to even see Fishstick win something other than thong man of the month.

Yeah, I had to search for his name to figure out who he was. He only made 4 posts. He's the guy that posted the hand about calling Ripp's all in with QQ and a K on the board to knock Ripp out of the Open House Showdown.

Wow. Good for Buxx. I remember talking to him at one of the FTR tournaments - seemed like a good guy.

$57,000. Unreal. I remember him from the FTR Showdown as well. He got his back broken when he flopped 2nd nut flush to my nut flush. He seemed like a quality poster + player. Maybe he'll post here again....
Congrats to him, and may we all have at least one big poker payday someday

Hey Guys!
Thanks for the support!
It was a hell of a tourney and a hell of a run of cards. I honestly have been meaning to post more, but I'm so damn lazy.

Buxx and I were at a table together for a while in a $100 freezeout tonight with 228 entrants. I was rolling early, but my cards went real dry once I became the 2nd biggest stack in the tourney, and I ended up letting myself get blinded away some, and didn't maintain my chip lead, hovering around the same amount of chips for a couple hours while everyone else got more and more chips. Finally I get AKs UTG when I'm pretty short stacked, make my standard preflop raise and decide I'll go all-in with this hand preflop if I'm raised. SB and BB just call. The flop comes rags and I shove in and get called by a mid pocket pair and I'm out in 21st place. Silly me.
Anyway, soon after Buxx came to my table where I spent the entire tournament at (with a mystery big name pro sitting on my right the entire time, none the less), I go for a blind steal in late position on Buxx's BB with QTs. He's a very short stack at this time. He calls, I miss the flop and bluff at it and he goes all in on me with top pair. I have to call because I'm pot commited, and I double him up. After this he goes on a mad rush to become a big stack.
After I bust out he goes on another mad rush to take a huge chip lead over everyone else and dominate the rest of the tourney to take home the first place prize of $6k.
Glad my chips at least went to a good use.
Good playing with you Buxx, even if I did irk you by raising your BB a lot. Seemed like the only time that pro on my right didn't raise in front of me when I had a playable hand.
