Blue Man Group: Is the absolute uber nuts: Loved every minute of it.

Riveria: Is re-structuring under Chapter 11. What does it mean, super cheap rooms, but the establishment sucks. What does that mean for you? Close your eyes and try to go to sleep in the worst room imagineable for 35 bucks a night. Could you sleep there?

Poker Tournaments: 2 tournaments, 2 times the chip leader, 2 times got stacked with the best hand when the money went in, 2 times ended up with a crippled "shove any 2 cards stack" 2 times couldn't catch back up as a 2-1 dog. Those turds were so easy to read I was pissing them off calling out their hands. The best part was when a so-called poker pro had the gumption to call me out when I flipped over 25o utg with 2500 in chips at the 1k/500 blinds level.
I told her that if she has any problem with my shove there, she wasn't nearly as good of a pro as she thought. Whole table went wild laughing at her.
Sahara's structure. 45 bucks, 20 minute blinds, 1 20 dollar strapon/rebuy. 4k chips. Should be EZ money if you can hold up that one time you manage to catch someone being mentally retarded.

Slot Machines: Turns out my whole family runs bad.

Hookers: All over the place down there. Can smell them before you see them. No action to report.

Freemont Street: Fucking awesome. Watching the Street performers was amazing. There were 2 dudes doing spraypaint art that I couldn't stop watching. The "hood" over the street kinda kills the night sky, but is made up for by the neatest shows ever. 6.99 prime rib doesn't suck either.

Strip food: Over Priced. Only one place was worth it. Kahunaville in TI.

As for the "Pro". She was pretty horrible, and making comments about everyones terrible play at the table.

If Mcat says 25o shove utg was bad, he's right I'd imainge. I just remember reading several strategy guides that suggest once you get under a certain M, that you should shove any 2 cards... perhaps I've mis-construed that somehow?

Well, think about it - if you "shove" now you've got a terrible hand guaranteed, and will be a large underdog to any players in the pot. Perhaps you'll get lucky, perhaps not. If you fold, you at least have the chance of picking up AA the next hand, but you'd be happy to see J7o as well after tossing 25o.

As for being a dick...I don't particularly have a problem with you biting back at someone that's being a bitch, but otherwise you should probably avoid doing anything that would put a damper on the table. It's Vegas, people are there to have fun. If that guy wants to rap and say weird shit, let him - the more fun people are having, the more money you should expect to make.

vegas is supposed to be fun but rapping after every winning hand is a lil much. as for the 2 5 off push i think its crazy. they say if you're stack is nearing ten times the big blind its time to make a move but i've played several tourneys where im almost down to one small blind, came across a hand got three or four callers, won and went much deeper in the tourney. ur hand s will come.
