The server at FTR got pwnt.
WE lost a weeks of info.
Xianti Eric and Tyson are doing their best to get a handle on the situation.
Do not panic.
I still owe some guy a dollar. Will u please PM me, the blog update and ur post in my thread got deleted.

<Xianti> hey, guys. Our host is currently working on restoring our site from backups. The primary hard disk failed. The HTML site is currently back online, but the database is not yet (no forums). No knowing when they'll restore the DB. They're working on it now. Some data may have been lost, but we aren't sure yet. Once online, if you notice posts missing, please let me know

Apparently, they last backed up our site on January 14th. It seems we've lost everything created after that date... including the blog entries.

I've been in the SnG forum today thinking "jesus, who is dredging up all these threads?"
Also i posted in one of my threads that it ended up being a bad beat post. Came back today, i thought someone had just completely deleted it!

One good thing that's come out of this is that our pages are loading faster now. Hopefully, the sql database errors we'd been haunted with the past couple months were also related to the hard drive going bad.

well if thats true they shoudlve been abel to put 2 and 2 togheter (har har har) and fixed the damn harddrive the moment they saw something was going wrong

Aaah.. yes. Another example of a recent oddity that can be attributed to the failing hard disk.
Also, a couple months ago, at least one regular member's account was mysteriously made inactive. At the time, we Admins thought someone had somehow gained access to one of our Admin accounts (which is the only way an account can be deactivated). All 3 of us changed our passwords that day.
I think a lot of strange, unexplained things in the past few months can likely be blamed on the bad disk.
