I went to the cashier on Stars see where my BR was at after a session today and was suprised to find it had gone from $70 to $95 without my knowledge. I checked the transfers tab and there was a new one that just said 'CREDIT PURCHASE' without any other info besides that it was $25.

I'm very puzzled by this. It for sure wasn't a deposit bonus or anything. Did someone hack my account to GIVE me money? Is there just an error??? (I don't see how they could have a hole like that going on.)

I'm not complaining, I just don't wanna find all my money gone or something. Does anyone have any idea what this may be?

PS. I wasn't drunk or anything. It happened around 6am while I was asleep in bed before work this morning.

hmm thats strange. you should change your password just in case but someone would have to be beyond stupid to hack your account and give you money.

i doubt anyone is taking the time to hack an account with only $75 in it. probly just a screwed up transfer.

Credit purchase is not a transfer is it? I thought that was a FPP bonus?

I have no idea what Credit Purchase means. I don't think it has to do with FPPs (at least in my case) as I only have 105FPPs.

Hmm, yeah I guess maybe I got a bonus somehow. I can't really even guess anything else it would be. It's just weird because I haven't even cleared a quarter of my deposit bonus.

Regardless, I think I might have to move up from 2nl soon.

Did you make an e-check cashout within the last couple weeks....say for $125?

I've accidentally transfered into a guys account before. Its kind of a long story, but whoever owns account 'FTS' on fulltilt owes me $50.

yeah i doubt you could clear any sort of bonus. you probably get like .05 vpp or less at 2nl.

pretty cool that you increased your br by 33% and didnt do anything!

I know it looks like a gift, but I would tell PokerStars about it. If it was a bonus it would say it. It definately isn't a Transfer, as it clearly states that. It looks like someone deposited into your account with a credit card.

PokerStars has great support, and you should always bring up unknown transactions on your account (actually any account) just in case something funny is going on.

Based on what I have seen from PokerStars they may determine the mistake, and let you keep the $25 just because you brought it to their attention.

more then likely u refereed someone and they madea real money deposit ad cleared their bonus. pretty sure thats what it is either that or else u were colluded agaisnt but then u should get an email stating that u are being reimbursed due to collusion

This happened to me several months ago. I never figured out what it was, but I haven't had any money missing or anything since the dreaded incident.

ok, thats mostly what i was looking for lol.

I'm not too worried about the security either because I'm running PokerStars in Linux. I'm so happy I don't need windows for gambling

"CREDIT PURCHASE" on stars is bad news

contact stars and tell them to take the money back
