unix DOC file

    Default unix DOC file

    so im on some windows computer and im connected to a unix machine, and on the machine there is a .doc file that i need to read. obv i cant just open up ms word. theres also no web access to that machine so i have no idea how to get to this file.

    any ideas?? ty

    ftp

    There are also some utilities (usually comes with the xserver software) that let you setup a nfs server on a windows machine so that you can access files on the unix machine as if they were part of your windows filesystem.
